Available Jobs at EDvera

It all began back in 2001 when our founder, Chris Eckels, was responsible for legal/regulatory compliance at a school doing business in 17 states. After living on a plane for the better part of three years, it became very clear that there had to be a way to improve the process -- a simpler, faster and less-expensive way that eliminated shipping 3-ring binders and documents back and forth between schools and regulators/accreditors. The idea for EDvera -- marrying compliance with technology and online access -- was hatched in 2004.

Company Background

EDvera is a SaaS enterprise application that integrates the automation of workflows, document management and real-time reporting – coupled with dynamic progress update notifications and payment processing. Historically, the platform has been used by government agencies and accreditors for “compliance management” in the post-secondary education market. Going forward, the company plans to pursue significant expansion opportunities in other verticals who are also responsible for managing business/organization applicants through a licensing/permitting/authorization process.

With significant client growth over the past 12 months, EDvera is looking for a Lead Developer to join our core team. This position reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for ongoing product development, customer-funded enhancements and maintenance as well as helping set technology strategy for the company.

This person can think strategically (big picture) while also being hands-on – getting a lot accomplished without very much direction/oversight.
